Razzie nominations: As Hollywood gears up to celebrate the best of cinema with the Oscars, the Golden Raspberry Awards have given nominations to the year’s film flops.
The 2024 Razzie Award nominations were unveiled on Monday, and among the main characters in the greatest of the worst movies are mercenaries, a gigantic shark, and a terrifying Winnie the Pooh.
With seven nominations, including one for worst film, Sylvester Stallone’s “Expend4bles” lead the field. “Exorcist: Believer,” with five nominations, came in second.
The acting contenders for this year include Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer Lopez, Megan Fox, and past Oscar winners Jon Voight, Russell Crowe, and Dame Helen Mirren.
The Razzies’ official name, the Golden Raspberry Awards, honors the best of the worst in movies. The “winners” are revealed the day before the Academy Awards presentation, in keeping with the tradition.

The fourth part in Sylvester Stallone’s franchise The Expendables leads the Razzie nominations with seven.
Stallone is nominated for worst supporting actor, with co-star Megan Fox up for worst supporting actress.
Other nominees include The Exorcist: Believer and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, with five nominations each.
