NCCS Post-Graduate Dissertation Program 2024: Unlocking Opportunities in Modern Biology
NCCS welcomes applications from dedicated and academically proficient candidates for its post-graduate dissertation program. This unique opportunity is tailored for individuals passionate about delving into the realms of modern biology, including but not limited to Cell & Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Infection Biology, Cancer Biology, and Microbial Ecology.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students currently enrolled in the first year of M. Sc., M. Pharm, M. Tech programs, or those in their fourth year of B. Tech, B. Pharm, B. Sc., or integrated M. Sc.
- Applicants with qualifications such as MBBS, MD, B. V. Sc, or M. V. Sc. with a keen interest in translational clinical research.
Note: Candidates completing their post-graduation before the training session concludes are ineligible to apply, except for MBBS, MD, B. V. Sc, or M. V. Sc degree holders.
NCCS Post-Graduate Dissertation Program 2024: Application Process
To apply, visit the ‘Project Positions’ section under the ‘Careers’ menu on the NCCS website. Ensure you have a Gmail account to complete the online form. Prepare a single PDF file (not exceeding 1 MB) containing the following:
- Cumulative mark sheet of your Bachelor’s degree or, for four-year programs, the cumulative mark sheet for the third year.
- Certificate from the Head of the Department/Principal of your College/University, using the provided ‘Annexure A’ format.
- Applications missing these attachments will not be considered, excluding candidates with MBBS, MD, M. V. Sc., or B. V. Sc. qualifications.
- Bring the original HOD certificate and B. Sc. mark sheet at the time of joining.
NCCS Post-Graduate Dissertation Program 2024: Program Highlights and Guidelines
- NCCS does not offer stipends or impose fees for the PG dissertation program.
- The program is a full-time commitment, and on-campus hostel accommodation may be available on a chargeable, first-come, first-served basis.
- No part-time dissertations are accepted, and selected students must complete a minimum of 5 or 10 months.
- Adherence to NCCS rules and regulations is mandatory, including regular attendance at workplace, lab activities, and academic events.
