It will use BOE’s latest LTPO OLED display, dubbed X1 Oriental Screen. The OnePlus 12 will have a 2K display with a peak brightness level of 2,600nits. The screen will also support for a DisplayMate A+ rating.
Li Jie, the President of OnePlus China, also revealed on Weibo about the inclusion of a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens in the upcoming OnePlus 12. The rest of the details are currently unknown, but leaks from previous sources suggest that this periscope zoom camera may utilize an OmniVision OV64B sensor, potentially providing up to 3x optical zoom. OnePlus has also released some camera samples showcasing the capabilities of this periscope zoom camera, emphasizing its advancements in capturing images under low-light conditions.
If we go by leaks, we could see a triple rear camera unit on the OnePlus 12. It is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS support and a 50-megapixel ultrawide Sony IMX581 sensor, in addition to a 64-megapixel 3x telephoto zoom lens with OIS.
