Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Telangana and Chhattisgarh on October 3. This will be his second visit to both the states in two days. PM Modi will reach Jagdalpur, Bastar at 11 am and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 23,800 crore. These include NMDC Steel Plant of Nagarnar.

At 3 pm, the Prime Minister will reach Nizamabad in Telangana, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 8000 crore in important sectors like electricity, railways and health. He will also address the BJP meeting here.

Election campaign started from Mahabubnagar two days ago
Two days ago, PM Modi had started BJP’s campaign for the upcoming assembly elections from Mahabubnagar. Nizamabad holds political significance as Kavitha, daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and a sitting BRS MLC, is expected to contest the 2024 elections again from here.

However, K Kavita lost the 2019 Lok Sabha elections to D Arvind, the sitting BJP MP from Nizamabad.

Will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate these projects in Telangana
Will inaugurate the first 800 MW unit of Phase-I of NTPC’s Telangana Super Thermal Power Project. Apart from this, he will also inaugurate the new line connecting Manoharabad and Siddipet and rail projects between Dharmabad-Manoharabad and Mahabubnagar-Kurnool.
