She said, ‘I went to an ISKCON cowshed in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Not a single cow was found in the cowshed which did not give milk. Nor was any calf found. This clearly means that they (ISKCON) sell the cows and calves that do not give milk.
ISKCON’s reply: ISKCON spokesperson Yudhishthir Govind Das has called Maneka’s allegations false and baseless. He said, ‘The cow shed that Maneka is talking about has more than 250 non-milking cows and hundreds of calves. For this, CBI has sought documents related to approval, tender and payments of renovation from the Public Works Department (PWD) of Delhi. In fact, in May this year, the Vigilance Department had submitted a report to LG Vinay Saxena, in which it had been claimed that more than Rs 52 crore had been spent on Kejriwal’s bungalow.
Why is this news important: The Vigilance Department had issued show cause notices to 7 PWD officers in June. Rohit and Virat looked in rhythm, but Rahul-Surya and Jadeja could not fulfill the responsibility in the lower order. On the other hand, Australia’s top-4 batsmen scored fifties.
