West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose was shown black flags by Trinamool Congress workers in Siliguri. During this, the protesters also raised slogans of ‘Go Back’ against the Governor.

Governor CV Anand Bose had arrived on Thursday morning to take stock of the situation in the flood affected districts of northern West Bengal. When the Governor reached the guest house after visiting the flood affected areas of Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Jalpaiguri, the Trinamool workers present there showed black flags. During this, there was a clash between the police and the workers.

The protesting Trinamool workers alleged that the Governor has come to Siliguri to do politics. The Governor has said that he welcomes the protesters. He said that I do not want to stay in the guest house permanently, they are asking me to go back so out of respect for them I am going back.
