‘Mai Ka Lal’ has again entered the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. This time former Chief Minister Uma Bharti has said that no one can end Mai Ka Lal reservation. The issue of ‘Mai Ka Lal’ had become a problem for BJP in the 2018 elections.

The former Chief Minister was addressing the cow protection conference organized at Rabindra Bhawan, Bhopal. During this, he cornered his own party over not getting reservation for OBC women in the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan’ Act. He said that this bill may have been passed, but it will not be implemented without giving reservation to OBC women.

While narrating an incident from an interview, Uma Bharti said – ‘Either the system of the country should become such that the situation of reservation does not exist. That situation will come when ST, SC themselves say that they do not want reservation. Reservation cannot be ended before that. No mother’s son can abolish the reservation system. This will do. As long as even a single person in the society remains deprived of his rights. Till then reservation cannot be abolished. This will do. Because reservation means that the principle of equal opportunity does not apply in an unequal society, the principle of special opportunity applies in an unequal society. This means reservation.

Referring to an interview, Uma Bharti said that no one can abolish the reservation system.

Bill cannot be implemented without reservation for OBC women

Uma Bharti said- Women’s bill has been passed. If that had been implemented I would have fallen ill. I have full hope that this bill will be implemented with reservation for women from backward classes. It may have been passed, but it will not be implemented without giving reservation to OBC women.

Uma said that when these women go to Parliament, they will sit in the Assembly. So will challenge the government system. The system in place is not poor friendly.

60% OBC cannot be ignored

Uma Bharti said- SC ST will get reservation under the constitutional system. The upper caste people will get 10% reservation in jobs on the basis of poverty, but I want to enter the Parliament along with OBC women along with them. This is my wish. Social equality means you cannot ignore the power of 60% people. If his power has been divided into pieces then it will come together and form an idol. Its life will be respected.
