Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu

The Chief Minister has donated an amount of Rs 51 lakh from his personal account to the Chief Minister Disaster Relief Fund- 2023. He along with his wife Kamlesh Thakur presented this check to Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena.
Chief Minister Sukhu said that when small children can give money from their piggy bank as relief amount, then why can’t they give their deposited cash. The state needs everyone’s help at this time. In view of this, he has decided to donate the amount deposited in his account to the Disaster Relief Fund. Even before this, Chief Minister Sukhu has been helping in this way.
Earlier also the salary was given to the disaster relief fund.
