Fresh snowfall has been recorded in the higher altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh. Light snowfall occurred this morning at Baralacha (15912.0 ft height) connecting Lahaul Spiti and Leh. This is the first snowfall of the season in the area. It is a matter of relief that after the latest snowfall, the traffic on Manali-Leh road has not been affected yet.
After snowfall on high peaks and rain in other areas for two days, a slight drop in temperature has been recorded. Bus services closed on route 170

NH restored in Nigulsari, Kinnaur
Shimla-Kinnaur National Highway connecting Hindustan-Tibet National Highway has also been restored in Nigulsari after 10 days. Here the mountain was broken on about 400 meter portion of the highway. Due to this, the entire district was cut off from the rest of the country and the world.
