SAIL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is looking for qualified candidates for the post of Attendant cum Technician Trainee (Grade S-1). In order to apply for SAIL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023, the candidate must have done Matriculation and completion of apprenticeship training of a minimum one-year duration in designated trade from an integrated steel plant and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training. The are a total of 85 vacant seats for the mentioned post. Candidates willing to apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023 should not be more than 28 years. The duration is for a period of 2 (two) years followed by one year of probation.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT, skill test and Trade test. The details regarding the selection process will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates. The chosen applicant for SAIL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023 will get a monthly salary between Rs. 25070 to Rs. 35070. Candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category have to pay Rs. 300 as application fee and candidates belonging to ST/SC/PwBD/Departmental/ESM candidates have to pay Rs. 100 as the application fee. The online application will start from 04.11.23 and the last date for submitting the application form is 25.11.23.

Selection Procedure for SAIL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023:

The selection of candidates for SAIL Technician Trainee Recruitment 2023 is based on exam and skill tests. The details regarding the selection process will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through the official website.

Exam (CBT)- The minimum qualifying marks in the Online test (CBT) for unreserved posts/EWS will be determined based on a 50 percentile score. For SC/ST/ OBC(NCL) / PwBD candidates, the minimum qualifying marks will be a 40 percentile score ONLY concerning posts reserved for them.

Skill/Trade Test- Among those who qualify in the exam (CBT), candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in the ratio of 1:3 category-wise in order of merit.
