• Candidates should hold posts in IDA E-6 grade (Rs. 90000–240000/-) for four years.

Joint General Manager (Civil): Level-13 (CDA)/ E-6 (IDA) Rs. 90000-240000/-:
Officers of civil engineering Department Holding Substantively

• Candidates should hold posts in analogous grade (CDA/IDA) OR
• Candidates should hold posts in Level 12 (CDA) and have 8–12 years’ service in Group ‘A’ OR
• Candidates should hold posts carrying grade IDA E-5 (Rs. 80000-220000/-) for four years.

Age Limit for RVNL Recruitment 2023:

• It was the vision of the then Hon’ble Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, based on which RVNL was incorporated as PSU on 24.01.2003.  The idea of the then Hon’ble Prime Minister was to bridge the infrastructure deficit on Indian Railways and accordingly announced about the National Rail Vikas Yojana on 15.08.2002 in his address from the Red Fort.  NRVY was formally launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 26.12.2002 and to implement the NRVY, RVNL was incorporated as per the then Companies Act 1956 with the twin objectives of implementation of projects relating to creation and augmentation of capacity of rail infrastructure on fast track basis and raising of extra budgetary resources for SPV projects.

• The company began its operation in 2005 with the appointment of Board of Directors.  The company was granted Miniratna status in September 2013. RVNL has been rated “Excellent” for the 9 successive years by the Department of Public Enterprises.  RVNL has also been ranked 1st amongst the Railway PSEs for the 4 times out of the last 5 years.

• The turnover of the company for the financial year 2019-20 has increased by 44.44%.  The authorized share capital of the company is Rs. 3000 cr. with paid up share capital of Rs. 2085 cr.  The company has been listed after its disinvestment of its stake of 12.16% of the company through IPO.
