A major accident took place in Lucknow on Saturday morning. Here a house collapsed in the old railway colony in Alambagh. 5 people of the same family died in the accident. The deceased include husband, wife and 3 children. The accident happened when the family was sleeping. After knowing about the accident, there was chaos on the spot. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took possession of the dead bodies and sent them for postmortem.

In the morning, his friend had come to call the deceased’s son Harshit. She knocked on the door. When the door did not open, the friend peeked through the window and saw that the roof of the house had fallen. After this he immediately informed the people of the locality. After this the police reached the spot. The deceased have been identified as Satish Chandra (40), Saloni Devi (35), Harshit (13), Harshita (10) and Ansh (5).

After the accident, police reached the spot with an ambulance.  The police have taken the bodies into their custody and sent them for postmortem.

Deceased Satish Chandra lived with his family in Railway Colony, Alambagh. He was survived by his wife, a daughter and two sons. His mother Ram Dulari was a railway employee, who died a few days ago. Satish Chandra was going to get a job under the deceased dependent quota. Till now he used to do private job. All the three children of the deceased studied in a railway school.

DM said- There were 64 houses in the colony, notice was issued to all
On receiving information about the accident, DM Suryapal Gangwar reached the spot. DM said, there were 64 houses here. Notice was issued to everyone earlier. Talks have been held with railway officials. The rest of the house will be vacated soon. On the question of investigation into the matter and action against the culprits of the incident, the DM said that this is an internal matter of the Railways. They will investigate it and take action based on the investigation only.

Now everyone should vacate their houses
After the incident, family members and relatives of the deceased reached the spot. The women are talking among themselves that now everyone should vacate the house. The relatives of the deceased told that the Railways was repeatedly asked to vacate. If the houses had been vacated in time, perhaps this accident would not have happened.

The in-laws of deceased Satish Chandra said that they had told their brother to vacate the house. Take a house on rent somewhere. The second woman in the relationship said that Satish Bhaiya’s mother had died recently. We were saying that since then. That the house is dilapidated. Every day something or the other keeps falling here. Leave it.

Before getting a job, Satish was raising children by doing a private job.
Satish’s in-laws say that before getting a job in Railways, he used to support the family by doing a private job. The mother of deceased Saloni said, it was raining on Sunday. By that time the children had come home. Whenever it rained, I used to call my daughter and family. These people had just arrived. Didn’t know that an accident would happen. The in-laws said that they told their brother several times to take the house. He says either educate your children or buy a house. You will get a job after two months and then everything will be fine.

Harshit wanted to become a police officer in railways
Relatives told that Harshit was promising in studies. He was also good at playing. He used to go to play cricket every morning. He wanted to become an officer in the Railways. He used to tell the family that he would become a big officer in the Railways by joining the sports quota. 13 year old Harshit was a class 6 student. Sister Harshita was in third class and Krishna stayed at home. Deceased Satish Chandra alias Bablu and his wife Saloni Devi lived there.

Inspector Alambagh said that five people of the same family were buried after the house collapsed in the colony. Where he died. The body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Further investigation is being done. Here, CM Yogi has expressed grief over the accident. He has expressed condolences to the family of the deceased. Also, instructions have been given to the officials to speed up the relief work.
