CBI will go to Imphal today to investigate the murder of 2 students in Manipur. This information has been given by Chief Minister N Biren Singh. He said that the Central and State Governments are working together in this matter. The culprits will not be spared. Soon all the accused will be arrested.
On the other hand, there was a clash between security forces and students in Imphal city on Tuesday i.e. 26 September. In this, 54 students including 1 teacher were injured. The students were protesting against the murder of two students missing since July. All the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. The state government has once again suspended mobile internet for the next 5 days.
After the ban on mobile internet was lifted in the state on September 23, photographs of dead bodies of two students were revealed, which is going viral on social media. In the photo, both their bodies are seen lying on the ground. Also the boy’s head has been chopped off.
However, the bodies of both have not been found yet. In July, both the students were seen in the CCTV camera installed in a shop, but since then they could not be traced.
Students who were injured during the protest against the killing of students were admitted to a nearby hospital.

Here, 24 MLAs have sent a signed letter to Home Minister Amit Shah, in which they have appealed to CBI to arrest the accused of murder of the two students as soon as possible.
Priyanka said- Center should be ashamed of its inaction
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said- Children are the most vulnerable victims of caste violence in Manipur. It is our duty to do everything possible to protect them. The crimes taking place in Manipur are beyond words, yet crimes are being allowed to continue in the state without any deterrent. The Center should be ashamed of its inaction.
On July 19, the video of women being paraded naked went viral.
On May 4 itself, an incident of two women being paraded naked took place in Thoubal district. Its video went viral on social media on July 19. It is seen in the video that some people stripped two women and did obscene acts with them.
The husband of a victim woman said, ‘A mob of a thousand people had attacked the village. I could not save my wife and the villagers from the mob. Even the policemen did not give us security. The mob continued to commit atrocities for three hours. My wife somehow took shelter in a village.
At the same time, the mother of the other woman seen in the video said- ‘Now we will never return to our village. There my little boy was shot dead, my daughter was put to shame. Now everything is over for me.

175 dead, 1100 injured so far in Manipur
So far 175 people have been killed in the caste violence that has been going on in Manipur for the last 4 months. More than 1100 people have been injured. Not only this, 5172 cases of arson were reported, which included incidents of burning and vandalism of 4786 houses and 386 religious places.

More than 65 thousand people left their homes after the violence
So far, more than 65 thousand people have left their homes in Manipur. 6 thousand cases have been registered and 144 people have been arrested. 36 thousand security personnel and 40 IPS have been deployed in the state. A total of 129 posts have been set up in both the hill and valley districts.
