CM Mamata Banerjee met with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe at Dubai International Airport
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is on a 12-day tour of Dubai and Spain. There Mamta will participate in a business summit. On reaching Dubai International Airport, Mamata Banerjee met Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Mamata invited Wickremesinghe for the Global Business Summit 2023 to be held in Bengal. The 7th Bengal Global Business Summit will be held in Kolkata on 21-23 November.
CM Mamata Banerjee described her meeting with Ranil Wickremesinghe as pleasant. Banerjee also said that the Sri Lankan President also invited her to visit Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka’s old relationship with India
India and Sri Lanka have relations dating back more than 2,500 years. Both countries have worked on improvements in intellectual, cultural, religious and linguistic interaction. Besides, there has been partnership on many important issues including import-export, increasing trade and investment, development, education.
Mamta will return from foreign trip on September 23
On Wednesday, CM Mamata Banerjee left for Spain’s capital Madrid from Dubai to participate in the three-day business summit. Before boarding the flight, Mamta said that we are going to Spain after 5 years. Spain also participated in the Kolkata Book Fair. Spain has a better manufacturing archive. Let us see to what extent this can open new avenues of development. I will also invite Spain to the Bengal Business Summit 2023 to be held in Kolkata on 21-23 November.
