The price of Mahindra Thar in the Indian market starts from Rs 10.98 lakh to Rs 16.94 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. Recently, the prices of Thar have been increased by Rs 43,000.
Mahindra Thar Variant and colors
Mahindra Thar is offered in a total of two variants in the Indian market, which include AX(O) and LX. With this, it is offered in 6 color options, which include Everest White, Blazing Bronz, Aquamarine, Red Rage, Napoli Black and Galaxy Grey.
Mahindra Thar Engine
It is powered by three engine options from under the bonnet. 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine which generates 152 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, and the other 2.2 liter diesel engine which generates 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Both engine options are offered with six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions.
Apart from this, a new 1.5 liter diesel engine is used in rear wheel drive which generates 118 bhp and 300 Nm torque. This engine option comes only with a 6 speed manual transmission. The petrol rear wheel drive variant has the same engine as the 4WD, which comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.
