Jammu Defense PRO and Lieutenant Colonel Sunil Bartwal said that on October 1, we had received information about suspicious activities in Broh and Soom forests of Kalakot. On Monday (October 2), Jammu Police and Central Reserve Police Force along with the Indian Army started a joint operation.

During the raid, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which an encounter started. It is fortunate that no one was injured in this. The operation was stopped due to darkness on Monday. The operation started from Tuesday morning. The area is being monitored with drones.

Earlier, two terrorists were killed by security forces in an encounter on September 12 and 13 in Narla area of ​​Rajouri. On September 12, a soldier and army dog ​​Kent were martyred while fighting the terrorists. At the same time, three soldiers including a special police officer were injured.
