When the accused were not arrested, the family members of the deceased woman created a jam by placing the body at the medical turn.

Four members of the family were cremated on the same pyre in Rohtak, Haryana. These included husband, wife and their son and daughter. Here on Saturday, Sandeep, who worked in a company in Gurugram, had murdered his wife and daughter.

After which she committed suicide by jumping in front of a train along with her 2 year old son. In this case, the police have registered a case of abetment of death against the father-in-law, step-mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the deceased woman.

Before this, the police conducted postmortem of the bodies of all four. However, the family members refused to take the body and perform the last rites until the accused were arrested. They staged a sit-in at the gate of the Mortuary House of Rohtak PGI. When the police did not listen, they blocked the Medical Road for an hour.

After this, SHO Satyapal of the police station reached there. He assured that the accused will be arrested soon. After which the family agreed. The pyre was lit by deceased Sandeep’s cousin Bhaskar.

According to the woman’s family members, her father-in-law, step-mother-in-law and brother-in-law were harassing her regarding the division of the house. It is also coming to light that Sandeep’s father Hoshiar Singh will attend the funeral.

The goods train driver has made a big revelation in the case of suicide along with Sandeep’s son. The driver told Rohtak GRP – “On Saturday morning at 11 am, I left Delhi from Rohtak in a goods train. The goods train had just gained a slight speed when a young man suddenly emerged from the bushes on the way. He had a small child in his lap. The goods train had gained speed. That young man picked up the child and kissed his forehead. He hugged me and then held me tightly in his lap and jumped in front of the goods train.

The driver further said, “I was also surprised to see this suddenly.” I immediately applied emergency brakes of the goods train but the speed was high. The goods train stopped after traveling about a kilometer. After which the local railway officers were immediately informed about it.

Family members protesting by keeping the dead body on the road. However, after the police assured of arrest, the family members ended the protest and performed the last rites.

In the complaint given to the police, Sandeep, a resident of Kabalana village of Jhajjar district, told that they are 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Her younger sister Reena was married to Sandeep, a resident of Salara Mohalla, Rohtak, in December 2016. Sandeep’s mother has already died. His father Hoshiar Singh had married for the second time.

Hoshiar Singh has a son and a daughter from his second marriage. About a year after Reena’s marriage, her mother-in-law Savita, father-in-law Hoshiar Singh and brother-in-law Umesh started fighting with Sandeep and Reena over the division of the house. He had explained this to Reena’s in-laws several times.

First he killed his cooking wife, then strangulated his daughter.
When the police investigated Sandeep’s house in this case, they came to know that Sandeep first hit his wife Reena who was preparing to cook. Peeled onions were kept in the house for morning meal. Reena was not given any information about her husband’s sinister intentions.

Sandeep strangled his wife Reena and daughter Chetna. On the spot, Chunni was found around the neck of daughter Chetna. It is clear from this that first the wife was strangled with this chunni. Then when the daughter died due to strangulation, leaving Chunni wrapped there, Sandeep ran away with his son on the railway track.
