A fire broke out in a girls hostel in Mukherjee Nagar area of Delhi on Wednesday evening. Some girls are trapped in the building, efforts are on to rescue them. 12 fire tenders are present on the spot.
Director of Delhi Fire Service said that information was received about the fire in the PG built in Singuchar Apartment in Mukherjee Nagar. As soon as the information was received, 12 fire tenders were sent to the spot.
There was a fire in Sanskriti Coaching Center in June.
In June 2023, a fire broke out at the Sanskriti Coaching Center in Mukherjee Nagar area of Delhi. To save their lives, students were seen coming down from the third floor of the building with the help of a wire. Some saved their lives by jumping from windows. The accident took place in Gyana Building near Batra Cinema.
According to news agency ANI, after the accident, 61 people were admitted to 3 hospitals for treatment. Of which 50 were discharged. The District Crime Team has inspected and photographed the incident site.
Some students alleged that some people were lying dead inside, but the police were not allowing anyone inside. The police are hiding the figures. At the same time, a large number of police are deployed outside the coaching centre. However, according to Delhi Police PRO Suman Nalwa, only 3-4 students were injured. Who were immediately sent to the hospital. The fire brigade also brought the fire under control in some time.
