1. India’s biggest victory over Pakistan in hockey, also won gold medal by defeating PAK in squash.

India achieved its biggest victory over Pakistan in hockey on the 7th day of the Asian Games. India defeated Pakistan 10-2 in the Pool-A league match. India scored 10 goals against Pakistan for the first time. In squash, the Indian men’s team won gold by defeating Pakistan 2-1. At the same time, in tennis, the pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosle won the gold medal. In table tennis, the pair of Sutirtha and Ayhika Mukherjee defeated the world number-16 Chinese pair 3-1 in the quarter-final match.

2. ₹2000 notes can be exchanged till October 7, 96% of the notes in circulation returned to banks
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the date for depositing and exchanging Rs 2,000 notes in banks till October 7. After this the banks will not accept these notes. However, they will remain legal tender. People will be able to use them in mutual transactions. These notes can be exchanged by visiting any bank. Notes worth Rs 20,000 can be exchanged in a day. At the same time, any number of Rs 2,000 notes can be deposited in the account.
Why is this news important: RBI had announced the withdrawal of Rs 2000 notes from circulation on May 19. During that time, notes worth Rs 3.56 lakh crore were in circulation. 96% of these notes have returned to the banks. Now only Rs 14 thousand crore worth notes are in the market. The Rs 2000 note was launched after demonetisation in 2016. RBI had stopped printing of Rs 2000 notes in the year 2018-19 itself.
3. Petrol pump dealers strike in Rajasthan today, petrol and diesel will not be available from 6 am to 6 pm.
The most expensive fuel in the country is being sold in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan. Here one liter petrol is available for ₹ 113.30 and one liter diesel is available for ₹ 98.07.
Petrol pump dealers of Rajasthan will be on strike today. There will be no sale of petrol and diesel at about 7 thousand petrol pumps from 6 am to 6 pm. Dealers are demanding reduction in Value Added Tax (VAT) on petrol and diesel in the state. They say that if the Rajasthan government does not fulfill their demands, they will go on indefinite strike from October 2. Earlier also on September 15, petrol pump dealers had gone on strike.
Why is this news important: According to Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, due to the strike, the sale of 15 thousand liters of diesel and 68 thousand liters of petrol will be affected daily in the state. Due to this, the state government will suffer a loss of about Rs 44 crore every day. In Rajasthan, VAT is 19% on diesel and 31% on petrol. Here the price of one liter petrol is Rs 108.20 and the price of one liter diesel is Rs 93.47.
4. Rahul said- RSS gave the responsibility of spreading violence to PM Modi, he does not work for the tribals.

5. Aditya L1 traveled 9.2 lakh KM, came out of Earth’s sphere of influence
India’s solar mission Aditya L1 has covered a distance of more than 9.2 lakh kilometers from the Earth. The spacecraft has now exited Earth’s sphere of influence and is moving towards Lagrange Point 1 (L1). This is the second time that an ISRO spacecraft has gone out of the Earth’s sphere of influence. This was done for the first time by Mars Orbiter Mission in 2013. Aditya L1 mission was launched on 2 September.
Why is this news important: After traveling 126 days, Aditya L1 will reach L1 point in January. It is at a distance of 15 lakh kilometers from the earth. 7. Khalistanis stopped Indian High Commissioner from visiting Gurudwara, India expressed displeasure with Britain
