1. Last rites of martyrs of Anantnag, Colonel Manpreet’s 7 year old son lit the funeral pyre.
Tributes were paid with military honors to the soldiers martyred in the Anantnag encounter.
The last rites of Colonel Manpreet of Chandigarh and Major Ashish of Panipat, who were martyred in the terrorist encounter, were performed in their villages. Colonel Manpreet was cremated by his seven year old son Kabir. At the same time, the last rites of Major Ashish were performed by his cousin. On the other hand, the encounter with terrorists continued till 10 pm on the fourth day in Anantnag. 2-3 terrorists are hiding in the dense forests of Pir Panjal. One of them is Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Uzair Khan. Their search is going on with commandos, sniffer dogs, drones and helicopters. Rocket launcher is also being used.
Why is this news important: This is the biggest attack in Kashmir in the last three years, in which so many senior officers have been martyred. Earlier, on March 30, 2020, five officers including a Colonel, Major and Sub-Inspector were martyred in an 18-hour attack in Handwara, Kashmir. Since January this year, 40 terrorists have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, only 8 were locals and all the rest were foreigners.
2. Sixth case of Nipah found in Kerala, death rate due to the virus is between 40-70%
The sixth case of Nipah virus has been found in Kerala. Of these, 2 have died, while the remaining 4 people are being treated. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) says the mortality rate from Nipah is between 40 to 70 percent. This is much higher than the death rate due to corona. The death rate from Corona was only 2 to 3 percent. ICMR also said that the reason why Nipah virus spreads in Kerala is not clear.
Why is this news important: Nipah virus spreads to humans from animals like bats and pigs. Till now there is no treatment or injection available for it. According to WHO, patients infected with Nipah virus show symptoms like viral fever along with headache, feeling like vomiting, difficulty in breathing and dizziness.
3. Congress MLA Maman Khan arrested in Nuh violence, police said- he was in contact with rioters
Congress MLA Maman Khan was produced in the court amid tight police security.
Congress MLA from Firozpur Jhirka Maman Khan was arrested on charges of spreading violence in Nuh, Haryana. He was arrested from Jaipur, Rajasthan. The court has sent the MLA on police remand for two days. Police say that Maman Khan was in contact with the rioters during the Nuh violence. His location was also found near the scene of violence.
Why is this news important: In the Nuh violence on July 31, 7 people were killed and more than 100 people were injured. Haryana Police has so far registered 60 FIRs in the case and arrested 316 people. Monu Manesar was also arrested on September 12 in the same violence case.
4. Sale of iPhone-12 banned in France, government said – it has more radiation
France has banned the sale of iPhone 12. The government says that there is more radiation in it. 5. VIDEO of 12 children drowning in Bihar, people kept shouting – save them, but they kept drowning one by one.

People jumped into the river to save the children, but by then 12 lives were lost in the river. The bodies of some were found about 5 kilometers away from the spot. Why is this news important: According to the data of Bihar State Disaster Management Authority, the number of deaths due to drowning is continuously increasing in the state. 205 people lost their lives due to drowning in the state in 2018. Then in the year 2019, the number of deaths due to drowning increased to 630. After this, the number of deaths increased to 1060 in the year 2020 and 1206 in the year 2021. This means that compared to 2018, the number of deaths due to drowning in 2021 has increased almost six times.
6. Supreme Court’s question to Manipur government – Why should the FIR registered against journalists not be cancelled?
The Supreme Court has extended the stay on the arrest of 4 members of the Editors Guild of India (EGI) in Manipur by 2 weeks. The court also said that prima facie no crime is made out against journalists. Why should the FIR registered against him not be cancelled? Such sections have been imposed on journalists, which do not apply in this case.
Why is this news important: Let us tell you that Manipur government had registered a case against 4 journalists of EGI after the complaint of inciting violence. He had released a report on media reporting on Manipur violence. He had said that reporting on the violence has been done from the perspective of only one side.
7. Water is being formed on the Moon because of the Earth, data from Chandrayaan-1 reveals.
American scientists are studying the data sent by Chandrayaan-1. He has claimed that water is being formed on the moon because of the earth. Scientists said that Earth’s high energy electrons are creating water on the Moon. These electrons are in the Earth’s plasma sheet, which is responsible for the seasonal process, that is, their presence causes changes in the Earth’s weather.
Why is this news important: Chandrayaan-1 had indicated the presence of water on the surface of the Moon. On the basis of a research done by that mission, it was claimed that there is ice on the moon. After this, scientists estimated that due to lack of sunlight reaching the polar regions of the Moon, the temperature there could be below -200 degrees Celsius, which indicates the presence of water in the form of ice. Therefore, Chandrayaan-3 was launched on 14 July 2023 to search for water.
8. Pakistan Airlines flights cancelled, Rs 636 crore needed to start it
Amidst the financial crisis, the work of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is on the verge of coming to a halt. Flights of 5 out of 13 aircraft taken on lease from PIA had to be cancelled. There is a possibility of this happening with 4 more planes also. They are short of fuel. There is an immediate need of Rs 636 crore to restart the airline in Pakistan.

9. Red alert of heavy rain in parts of MP, Gujarat and Maharashtra

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in 8 states on Saturday. There may be moderate rain in 15 states. Red alert has been issued for parts of MP, Gujarat and Maharashtra. 10. ISRO increased the orbit of Aditya L1 for the fourth time, now its shortest distance from Earth is 256 KM.

Now the minimum distance of Aditya Spacecraft from the Earth is 256 km, while the maximum distance is 1 lakh 21 thousand 973 km. Aditya Solar Mission was launched on September 2 from Sriharikota.

People from two villages stood on either side of the river and pelted stones at each other.
