Government bans two rebel groups of Tripura for 5 years, also bans organizations associated with them

The central government on Tuesday, October 3, banned two rebel groups of Tripura for 5 years. The names of these groups are National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF). Organizations associated with these two groups have also been banned for 5 years. They are accused of being involved in activities against the unity and sovereignty of the country.

In the notification issued by the government, it has been said that the objective of NLFT and ATTF is to make Tripura a separate nation. In this regard, these groups, with the help of many other organizations, have been waging armed rebellion for years.
