NDA ruled Sikkim government will implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for employees. CM Prem Singh Tamang said that this will benefit about 30 thousand employees of the state. Besides, the government will also regularize 20 thousand contract workers under ‘One Family One Job’.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy has said that the process of impeachment motion against President Joe Biden will be expedited. McCarthy, of Trump’s Republican Party, said Biden has been under investigation since January over allegations of giving his son Hunter an advantage in business deals.

A formal proposal will soon be brought in the House of Representatives. The Republican Party has 222 members in the 535-member House of Representatives.
