Anantnag Encounter Major Ashish Dhonchak; Mother Kamla On Government. Panipat Haryana News | She said- I gave my son to the country; The government could not give him a bullet proof jacket up to his feet.

Mother Kamala crying with a mountain of sorrow in her heart.

The last rites of Major Ashish Dhaunchak (36), martyred in an encounter with terrorists on September 13 in Anantnag, Kashmir, were performed in his native village Binjhaul. He was lit by his cousin Major Vikas. Before this, the soldiers of the Sikh Regiment gave him a gun salute. The family members’ eyes filled with tears as they paid their last respects to their young son.

Crying mother Kamla cursed the government fiercely. A news channel’s video of Ashish’s mother crying is viral on social media. Major Ashish’s mother Kamala is seen saying that if the government had purchased bullet proof jackets, everyone would have been saved.

She is also seen saying that I have raised a son and handed him over to the country. My son sacrificed his life for the country. I raised my son and gave it to the country. But what is the government doing? Why doesn’t the government provide bullet proof jackets from chest to knees? Only the sons of farmers are being martyred. Which son of the government has gone to serve the country?

He said that he came to know from Ashish’s family that Ashish and his team were on a mission. An encounter was going on with terrorists amidst dense forests. Meanwhile, he got shot in the leg. His team wanted to take him back for treatment.

But he said that he would return only after eliminating the terrorists. He continued fighting the terrorists even in his injured condition. His leg continued to bleed for about 10-12 hours. Due to which his condition became more critical. Meanwhile he was martyred.
