There is political turmoil in Punjab regarding Kejriwal’s visit. Opposition leaders have accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of misuse of government machinery and employees.
In Punjab, CM Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal are going to launch the School of Eminence in Amritsar today. During this time, a huge rally will also be organized at Ranjit Avenue. For this rally, responsibilities have been assigned to 734 government and private buses as well as government teachers and food supply department.
Various orders issued by Punjab Government.
More than 50 thousand AAP supporters are expected to attend the rally. Teachers have been put on duty in the buses, so that AAP workers do not face any problem. The Food and Supply Department is also fulfilling the responsibility of their food and drink. After this decision of AAP government, CM Mann government has come under target of opponents.
Teachers were made conductors and waiters
Senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia tweeted and said – What a change!! Teachers considered to be gurus have been made conductors and waiters of buses to serve the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party.
Is this a changing education model?
Leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly and Congress MLA Pratap Singh Bajwa tweeted, “Changing education model” Buses government, food government, if this is not misuse of state power then what is it? In the presence of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in Sri Amritsar Sahib. Bhagwant Mann, son of the inaugural teacher of the “School of Eminence”, has been the teacher.
During the function, teachers were made in-charge of 734 government and private buses to transport workers from across Punjab. Who will teach the children in schools instead of the teachers performing their duties as in-charge? I strongly oppose the use of teachers for party programs by playing with the education of children.
The dignity of the school suffered a blow.
Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal has also opposed CM Mann and Arvind Kejriwal by tweeting. He said- In any college or school, “reputation” rests with students and teachers alike. If one of them is being herded for political rallies and the other is forced to act as a shepherd for the purpose, it hurts the dignity of both. But this is what is happening in Punjab today.
To please Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Amritsar rally, thousands of school children were turned away from studies ahead of exams and teachers were tasked with bringing them in government/private buses.
All this is happening while unemployed teachers are being put under “house arrest” to stop their peaceful protest. Dear Arvind Kejriwal, please at least face your “sister” whom you brought down from the water tank with a job offer during the Punjab election campaign. She is still searching for her “brothers” and the elusive job that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann gave her.
ruthless looting of state property
BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has also raised questions on the AAP government. He tweeted and said – What a huge waste of public money by Bhagwant Mann ji to promote Arvind Kejriwal. Faridkot DC has been ordered to ensure 30 buses from the district to transport AAP Punjab members to Kejriwal ji’s rally in Amritsar. Punjab has become a colony of AAP and Kejriwal ji is ruthlessly looting the state’s property for his propaganda.
misuse of state machinery
Congress MLA from Bhulatha, Sukhjinder Randhawa, took a dig at the AAP government and said – People like Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, who used to make fun of the Badals and the Captain for misusing the state machinery for their political rallies, themselves misused the state power. Has broken all the records! Teachers have been deputed to transport the party workers to Amritsar in 734 government/private buses via DC and Food Civil Supplies officers have been directed to make arrangements for food.
AAP Punjab denied
Opposition parties have cornered the AAP government on the issue of imposing duty on teachers, but AAP Punjab has denied it on its official account. In the tweet made by the AAP government, it has been said that no teacher has been put on duty in this rally.
